Our Story

Leaps and Bounds ABA was founded by Kylee Forde, a BCBA in Nolensville, TN and her husband, Rupert Forde. Kylee first learned about ABA when she was working as a summer camp counselor at 18 years old and had a child with Autism in her group. Have you ever felt like you didn't know how to respond when your child engages in challenging behavior or what to do to give them the support they need to be successful? That was exactly how Kylee felt on her first day working at the camp, having had no experience working with children with Autism. Luckily, the child's ABA Therapist conducted community ABA sessions twice a week at the camp and not only was Kylee amazed at the skills she learned that summer, but she was even more amazed at how far that child had come in just one summer... he truly grew Leaps and Bounds.

That was just the beginning for Kylee. She went on to become a second grade teacher, but quickly found herself back in the world of ABA and went back to school to earn a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. She had the opportunity to learn from some of the best BCBAs all around the world. She has practiced in England, Florida, and Tennessee, where she now wants to share the knowledge she has gained and provide the highest quality of ABA therapy possible to each of her clients. That's how Leaps and Bounds ABA was born.
